PROJECT: The "Living Warehouse": VR Digital Twin for National Pharma Logistics
The Business Goal The country's largest pharma logistics operator needed to prove their quality standards to international partners. Because they handle controlled substances (narcotics), organizing physical tours was a security nightmare.
The Objective: Create a "Remote Audit" tool—a virtual experience that offers total transparency without the security risk of physical visitors.
The Product: A "Living" Simulation We rejected the idea of static 360° photos. We needed to convey the pulse of the operations.
- On-Site Research: I spent one week embedded in the facility, studying logistics flows and filming workflows to replicate the exact rhythm of the warehouse.
- Dynamic Environment: We built a linear, voice-guided tour, but surrounded the user with a fully autonomous ecosystem. In the background, VR forklifts moved pallets, and staff scanned inventory. It felt like a breathing, working facility, not a staged 3D model.
Strategic Validation (The COVID Case) The true value of this tool was proven during the global pandemic. Critical negotiations for COVID-19 treatments with Chinese suppliers stalled because flight bans made the mandatory physical site inspection impossible.
The Impact The simulation's fidelity was so convincing that international regulators accepted the VR tour as a valid substitute for a physical audit. This unprecedented exception unlocked vital supply chains during the crisis.
